One requirement for course completion is that students create a digital portfolio. This document, designed as a webpage, expresses what each student has learned at TESL Express.

Students select five "artifacts" that demonstrate their philosophy and strengths as a teacher, and briefly explain their significance. Additional items, such as favorite reflection papers or links to relevant websites, may also be uploaded.

Students who have completed the course will find their e-portfolios are a valuable asset in the job search process.
