Tracking Student's Progress

Instructors at TESL Express track the progress of their students in a variety of ways:

  1. An ongoing learning journal in which students reflect on course content and generate questions.
  2. Weekly online discussion to encourage continual dialogue among students
  3. Bi-weekly reflection papers in which students review, apply, and extend on what they have learned.
  4. Videotaped mini-lessons in which students practice various aspects of instruction and reflect on their strengths and weaknesses.
  5. A final e-portfolio that includes artifacts and reflective commentary demonstrating knowledge in four key areas: English language, learning strategies, teaching methods, and professional development.

Our instructors work closely with each of their students to ensure that they successfully complete the course.
